Forced Perspective

Project Description: This was a project that we could chose what ever we wanted to work on, but it had to pertain to something digital. So I chose forced perspective for my project.

These are some examples of some forced perspective, unfortunately, I wasn't able to get my project done because of technical difficulties. These pictures are about what I was going to do but I was going to do some Photoshoping to make it look even better than it already would have. At the time I was in Washington DC, so I was thinking that I could make it look like I took the top of the Washington monument. I would take the picture with my fingers a little away from the tip, then photoshop the top on my fingers so it looks like I took the top off of it.

Reflection: I really thought that this project was an eye opener to all of the different types of digital art. We just had a select few subjects in digital art though out the year, but this was a chance to explore more options in digital art. Even though I couldn't finish the project, I still enjoyed thinking about what I was going to do was really fun.

These are not my pictures, my artwork was stolen

Logo Project

Project Description:  In this project, we learned how to design and create our own logos. We could make the logo for anything we wanted such as our name, or some sort of thing that means something to us. I wanted to make a logo for my artist's name Jamsé, so I combined the J and the É and made the logo.

Project Reflection: I learned that having a good logo is very important because it is what the public and the customer sees first and you want a good impression on them. I learned how to use Illustrator better and how to develop a good looking logo for any business.

Final Draft

Truth of Happiness Project

Project Description: In this project, we learned about what makes us happiest and how that can affect us. We looked at many factors that could be involved, and near the end of the project, we had a SAC (Social Academic Controversy). Then we made short videos to show what we made which my partner and mine is above.

Utopia/Dystopia Project

Above: My final Photoshop product

Project Description: This was a project about making a Utopia or a Dystopian design of some sort, and I made a Utopia poster with the motto at the top. Why we did this is because we are learning about his in humanities and we were just getting some visual learning of the same topic.

Reflection: The program I used for this project was Photoshop, and that is it. Some big takeaways from this project were that Utopian products, are a lot harder to make compared to Dystopian products. Another is that it is really hard to get started on this type of project because there is so much opertunity and creativity.

Reflection

I really enjoyed this project mostly because most of the skills were a review. There were some skills and tools that were new, but for most of them were review. Anyway, I was really trying to make the best work that I could, and I think there is some refinement that I could have done. I think that it is okay though. I really expected this to be a lot easier, but I was surprised at how difficult and how much refinement it took. Overall, it was a really fun and exiting project. I was always excited to come and work on it every class.

The Tutorial Project

The Tutorial project was us using and practicing for the Teacher Creature project on Photoshop. We had a database of Photoshop tutorial videos, and we are suppose to pick three of them to practice. I chose to change my friends hair and shirt color, to delete stray hairs, and to smooth his skin. I also changed the contrast of the photo so it is less glare and easier to look at. To change his hair and shirt color I used the Paintbrush tool with a soft opacity. To delete stray hairs I used the Patch tool followed by the Blur tool. To edit his skin I used was the Spot Healing tool.

The Name Project

Here are some of the steps that I took in this project are getting the pictures first. First, I went out into the great american wild to get some pictures that look like letters of our name. Second, I put them on Photoshop. Third, I put them together in the way that you see above. Last, I put a filter of my dreams on it! This was review for me because I went to Mountain Middle School. There were some things that were review, but the majority of the content was review. I don't know if the next projects are going to be review or new content, but I am hoping for new skills to learn.
