Painting
The Constraints (what we had to work with) where India Ink, Paint brushes, Paper, water, and that's about it.
The essential question for this project is: How does value alter perspective in artwork? What I have found to be my answer is that it alters what looks real and what is actually a part of an object. For example on my bird, if there wasn't any value in it, then you couldn't tell what the bird was and what the background was. It also gives the perspective and illusion of shadow, and makes it look 3D! Ooooooooooooooo.
Bluebird on a Tuesday
I mainly took this class because I want to go into an engineering path in my future and this was the best option for that. Advanced Algebra was a different experience for me because I always hated algebra and I never wanted to do anything to do with it. But when I saw that I could take it, I chose to because, one, I wanted to go into engineering, and I thought it would be different than pre-algebra. I was defiantly right that it was different because it was "Advanced" and it was really hard. Luckily I liked my teacher and he was super helpful.
